Troy Brosnan (Canyon Collective Factory Team) found himself back on the UCI Mercedes Benz Downhill World Cup podium at Mont Sainte-Anne, Canada.

After missing the first two rounds recovering from injury, the South Australian worked his way back to form on a track where he’s enjoyed plenty of success.

“ I did not think it would be this hard to come back from an injury and get back up there.

“To do it here at Mont Sainte-Anne where I’ve always done so well.

"Still not quite first but it's close and to get third on such a brutal track leading into world champs I’m stoked.”

Brosnan would finish in the bronze medal position +3.504 behind winner Canadian Finn Illes, the first Canadian to win a home race since 2013.
