The third AusCycling BMX National Round of 2022 will be held at Sleeman BMX Track.


EVENT INFORMATION

Entries for the 2022 AusCycling BMX National Round 3 - Brisbane have now closed.

No late entries are available for this event.

To deliver this event we require additional support from officials and volunteers.

Please click here to complete the online form if you would like to assist during the 2022 AusCycling BMX National Round 3 at Sleeman BMX Track on Saturday, 9 April 2022.

Riders must provide their own race plates for this event.

Price:

  • $160 per team, which will be invoiced prior to the event.

Corporate Team Entry:

  • If you would like to enter a Corporate Team, please complete the online application form.
  • Applications must be submitted by 23:59 AEDT Sunday, 27 March 2022.

Each Corporate Team Entry, will include:

  • 1 x Allocated Tent Site (exact location of this Allocated Tent Site, will be provided ahead of event).
  • Nomination of up to six (6) riders to the team (you will be asked to complete a rider nomination form prior to the event).
  • Corporate Team Entry is for two (2) events being held (National Round 3 and Oceania Championships), with the results of both events added together to determine the Corporate Team winner.

Calculation of Results:

  • Points will be issued to riders for Motos and the Final (will not include Qualifiers), with the results of the top four (4) riders from each corporate team for each event added together.
  • The top four (4) riders can come from any category (excluding Sprockets and Mini Wheelers).
  • For riders entering more than one (1) category, the best results from one (1) of those categories will be considered.

Prizing:

  • The winning Corporate Team will receive a plaque.
  • 50% of the income received from Corporate Team Entry Fees for that event will be put into a prize pool, with 1st place receiving 50% of the prize pool, 2nd place receiving 30% of the prize pool and 3rd place receiving 20% of the prize pool.

Please Note: There must be at least three (3) Corporate Teams entered per event, in order for Corporate Teams to run at that event.

Please Note: Marquee/weights/power is the responsibility of the Pro Shop Proprietor.

Pro Shop Application:

  • If you would like to submit an application, please complete the online application form.
  • Applications must be submitted by 23:59 AEDT Sunday, 27 March 2022.

Please Note: You will be required to complete a Pro Shop Agreement (will be provided upon submission of your application), along with providing a copy of your Public Liability Cover.

Price:

  • 1 x 3mx3m Trackside Allocated Tent Site = $100

Please Note: The purchase of a trackside allocated tent site covers both event days (the Oceania Championships and BMX National Round 3).

Important Information:

The hirer must provide their own marquee, and must supply and use adequate weights to tie down the marquee.

Please Note: Sleeman BMX Track does not allow for marquees to be pegged around the track.

Trackside Tent Site Set Up:

Set up will be available on Thursday, 7 April (time TBC), and tents can remain set up until the conclusion of the event on Saturday, 9 April.

Please Note: AusCycling will not be responsible for any contents left in marquees or the marquees overnight. There will be overnight security engaged, however the hirer accepts all risk for items left at the venue.

Trackside Tent Site Application:

  • If you would like to submit an application, please complete the online application form.
  • Applications must be submitted by 23:59 AEDT Sunday, 27 March 2022.
  • Trackside Tent Site Allocations are strictly limited and allocation will be on a first come first served basis, as once the allocation is exhausted there will be no further trackside tent sites available.

The Mighty 11s Test Team and Memorial Class will be run on Friday, 8 April and Saturday, 9 April, at Sleeman BMX Track.

Riders wishing to enter into the Mighty 11s Memorial Class will need to enter by completing the online entry form and pay the entry fee.

In order to be eligible to enter into the Mighty 11s Memorial Class riders must be born between 15/6/2010 and 30/6/2011.
