The Oceania Cycling Confederation and AusCycling are delighted to host the Oceania Downhill Championships on 19-20 March 2022. The event will be held at Kooralbyn MTB Park on the Gold Coast.

START TIMES

Riders are encouraged to allow ample time to reach the start gate. Please arrive at the start gate at least 15min prior to your allocated start time

Oceania DHI Championships & Challenge - Australian Entrants

Oceania DHI Championships - International Entrants

Entry Fees:

- Oceania Championships - $130

- Oceania Challenge - $110 for Masters and $95 for Juniors

Price includes one (1) shuttle run for Qualifying and one (1) shuttle for the race.

Practice shuttles are an additional cost and can be paid on the day (6 runs for $50.00)

An AusCycling Race Off Road or AusCycling All Disciplines membership is required for Australian entrants.

Oceania Championship riders (Elite, U23 and U19) will also be require a UCI ID to enter. If you do not know your UCI ID or need to obtain one, please visit the following link - https://auscycling.org.au/membership/other/international-licences

  • Oceania DHI Championships - There will be no prize money awarded for the 2022 Oceania DHI Championships. Oceania Champion jerseys and medals will be awarded.
  • Oceania DHI Challenge - There will be no prize money awarded for the 2022 Oceania DHI Challenge. Oceania challenge medals will be awarded to the first 3 placegetters in category.

 


TECHNICAL INFORMATION


The Kooralbyn Valley MTB Park is hosting the Oceania Championships in conjunction with AusCycling. This will be a Continental Championship event and therefore will be conducted under the guidance of the UCI Technical Regulations and will respect UCI Financial Obligations. In conjunction with the Oceania Championships there will be an Oceania Challenge, incorporating age group categories including juniors and masters. The Oceania Challenge will operate in accordance with AusCycling Technical Regulations.
