  1. Please ensure your membership is financial for the date of the event if not please renew your Membership. If not you may face difficulty in logging into the event.

Entry Process:

Entry caps apply due to venue constraints. AusCycling are anticipating high interest from the membership and have worked with our event hosts to accommodate as many riders as possible. To manage registration in the fairest manner and to provide equitable representation across all categories, the entry process will include the following:

Phase 1 - Protected Entry - Closing Monday 12th December

a. Top 10 in each Group A Category after Round 1 
b. Top 5 in each Group B Category after Round 1

Phase 2a - 12:00noon Monday 12 December (Vic Time) to 9:00am Tuesday 13 December (Vic Time) or unless sold out

Entries will be open for the following categories

  • All Masters Aged Categories
  • Expert Men & Women

Phase 2b - 12:00noon Tuesday 13 December (Vic Time) to 9:00am Wednesday 14 December (Vic Time) or unless sold out

Entries will be open for the following categories

  • Under 15 Men
  • Under 15 Women
  • Under 17 Women
  • Junior Women (U19)
  • Elite Women

Phase 2c. -12:00 noon Thursday 15 December (Vic Time) to 9:00am Friday 16 December (Vic Time) or unless sold out

Entries will be open for the following categories

  • Under 17 Men
  • Junior Men (Under 19)
  • Elite Men

Phase 3.12:00 noon Friday 16 December (Vic Time) until sold out

Entries will be open for the following categories

  • Sport Men & Women (VDHS Categories)
  • Short Travel (VDHS Categories)
  • General Sale of any remaining spots

  • 2:00pm onwards - Track walk permissible (no shuttles)

Saturday 14 January

  • 8:00am - 2:00pm Registration
  • 8:00am - 10:00am Track Walk (no shuttles)
  • 10:00am - 4:00pm Official Practice (Split practice times to be announced Saturday)

Sunday 15 January

SHUTTLES

  • Cost - Saturday & Sunday Shuttles included in entry fee
  • Pick Up - Lower Tirol Carpark (No Public access)
  • Drop Off - adjacent the Arlberg and on Summit Road


ADDITIONAL EVENT INFORMATION

  • Food & Drink - Spurs Restaurant  will be open for food & drink
  • Event Parking - is limited and limited to 1 vehicle per tent site and organiser vehicles
  • Event Village  - will be located at Spurs and access will be via the walkway from the Arlberg
  • Medical / First Aid - located under the Northside Chair lift awning. This includes a medical/first aid tent and Ambulance Victoria

CATEGORIES & PRIZES

National Series DHI Rd 2 will be run in conjunction with Victoria Downhill Series Rd 1. Entry portal has been programmed to accommodate the VDHS event categories. Riders results in the Masters categories will be extracted into the appropriate National Series age categories post event.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The race will be held in International. The course starts at Spurs and concludes at the mid station on Northside chair. The track is 2.1 km in length and has gradient drop of 300m.  Start Elevation is 1650m & Finish Elevation is 1350 m
