National Championships
AusCycling can confirm their commitment to the 2021 Mountain Bike National Championships which are to take place at Maydena Bike Park, Tasmania from 8-14 March 2021.
We along with the Maydena Bike Park team continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and act in accordance with the advice of the Government and the Department of Health and Human Services.
Contingencies have been planned for in conjunction with the host should the conditions surrounding COVID-19 and travel restrictions change.
Registrations are now open and all event details can be found on the host event page.
* After further consultation it has been decided seeding at National Championships for most categories will be determined via results obtained from XCC racing. This affords the opportunity to maximise official practice opportunities and athlete recovery/preparation time.
For Elite/UCI categories a TT involving a a warm up lap and hot lap of the XCC course will determine seeding. Categories with fields of 8 or less will not be seeded.
2020 National Champion and UCI points holder seeding positions will remain honored. Amended schedule and details to follow soon.
National Junior Travel Program
