The Advanced Coaching Course has been developed under the Sport Australia education course guidelines 2017. The course provides the opportunity for coaches to learn, study and be assessed for both the theoretical and practical aspects of coaching emerging elite cyclists. This coaching course aims to bring all disciplines of cycling together and provide education for those persons wishing to coach athletes aspiring to represent their State or Territory at National Championships and International events.
The course provides in depth information relevant to cycling on the assessment of physiology, psychology, strength and conditioning, nutrition, and health management of the emerging elite athlete.
