Graham's career in cycling began as a junior club rider before he developed into a top-level competitor throughout the seventies, eighties and nineties. Graham represented Australia at World Championships and Olympic Games throughout his racing career, and concluded with Championship wins as a rider in 2008.

Transitioning into international coaching and development roles later in life offered Graham many years of travelling the world. He has served as the head coach of India for the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi before spending eight years in Malaysia creating and implementing a successful junior development program.

Graham has a rich history in a wide variety of cycling roles, including his most recent position as CEO of Cycling NSW, which will bring incredible value to AusCycling.

The main responsibilities in Graham's new position will be to contribute to and to support the implementation of AusCycling programs that inspire, empower and build capability in clubs through education and engagement. This role will also be an opportunity for Graham to continue his passion of creating pathways and development programs for young aspiring athletes.

His work will help to ensure that clubs and riders are better placed to manage and experience events, plus attract sponsors that will engage members and the broader community.

“The opportunity to continue my journey in the field of cycling as GM of NSW with the AusCycling team is very much appreciated,” said Seers of the appointment to his new role.

“I look forward to what is a new chapter for not only myself, but also for all the cyclists in Australia.”
