Luke Meier-Smith (Propain Factory Racing) produced his best result in the elite ranks after round two of the UCI MTB Mercedes-Benz World Cup at Fort William, while younger brother Remy would again feature on the podium in the junior men.
After finishing second at the opening round at Lourdes, France nearly two months ago, Remy would again be fighting it out at the pointy end with a bronze behind Jackson Goldstone (Santa Cruz Syndicate) and Jordan Williams (Maidson Saracen Factory Team).
His time of 4:42.961 would also see the current junior national champion finish 12th overall in the elite men three places behind his brother.
For Luke, he would cross in ninth place, just over four seconds behind eventual winner Frenchman Amaury Pierron (Commencal/Muc-Off By Riding).
