2022 AUSCYCLING BMX STATE SERIES – ACT/NSW R3 HAWKESBURY BMX

Due to the devastating floods this year, Hawkesbury BMX Club have made the difficult decision to cancel the BMX State Series – ACT/NSW R3 that was due to be held on the 19 June. The relentless wet weather and persistent flooding over the last few months has made the flood recovery an extremely slow process.

AusCycling understands the challenges that Hawkesbury BMX Club has faced over the last few months and support their decision to cancel the State Series round. AusCycling acknowledges the disappointment of the Club who have been working hard to plan their round, and that ultimately these factors are outside the control of the Club. 

As a result of the cancellation to the round, the State Series Regulations: ACT/NSW will be updated to reflect the change in qualification to five of seven rounds, instead of the six of eight rounds as previously stipulated.
