AusCycling has an update on the remaining ACT/NSW BMX events for 2021 and some Road and Track events.
2021 AusCycling ACT/NSW BMX State Series Round 8 – Batemans Bay
After consultation with AusCycling, Batemans Bay BMX has determined that they are unable to host Round 8 of the BMX State Series as scheduled on November 14.
This decision was not taken lightly and whilst the club hoped to put the event on, they do not feel that it is feasible at the moment due to the NSW Government restrictions in place and the effects of the lockdown on the necessary event preparations. However, AusCycling does encourage all clubs to run club events in the lead-up to the NSW/ACT BMX State Championships.
The BMX State Series qualification and points calculation for ACT/NSW were previously updated due to the changes in the schedule and the reduction of rounds due to the ongoing government restrictions. Further information on the process is available here.
2021 AusCycling ACT/NSW BMX State Championships
The 2021 AusCycling ACT/NSW BMX State Championships will proceed as scheduled from November 26-28 at Hawkesbury BMX.
We encourage anyone interested in participating in this event to enter as early as possible, to assist with the preparations.
Given the changing nature of restrictions over recent weeks in NSW, the full schedule for this event will be released in early November. More information on this event, including the entry link, is available here.
