San Remo BMX Club hosted the sixth and final round of the NSW BMX State Series with over 400 entries ranging from Sprockets to Superclass, cruiser to challenge classes.

It was a warm one at the track in the north of the Central Coast with riders going for dips straight after their races with the beach just next door to the track!

This being the final state event for 2020, riders were keen to take it up a notch and the year with a bang in what has been a turbulent year for the BMX calendar and sport in general.

Andrew Hughes of Macarthur BMX club nabbed first place in a tight Superclass ledger featuring Alex Cameron of Sydney BMX club and Ollie Moran of Manning Vallley BMX Club. On the women's ledger, Zoe Cooper of the San Remo Raptors took home first place, edging out Jess McCormack of Macarthur and Gemma-Lee Thomas of Castle Hill.

Close to 60 Sprockets took part in a cracking day of racing, great to see participation at young ages continuing to flourish!
