The Track National Challenge is an innovative national level track competition that first took place in 2020 and will again take place throughout Australia on the weekend originally planned for the AusCycling 2021 Track National Championships in Brisbane, Nov 26th – 28th 2021.

Age Group Information

Riders should be in their 2021 age category, not ride up to their 2022 age category

Program of Events

  • Individual Pursuit
  • Time Trial
  • Flying 200
  • Team Pursuit
  • Team Sprint

Each venue may hold these events in conjunction with existing events already taking place.

  • ACT/NSW: Race fixture - EntryBoss 
    • Included in entry for Jim Bundy Gate
    • Dunc Gray Velodrome, Sydney 
  • QLD: Masters Track Challenge - EntryBoss
    • Entry fee per rider per event: 200m =$15, Time Trial = $15, IP = $15, TP = $15, TS = $10 
    • 26th Nov 6PM, 27th Nov 12PM, 28th Nov 9am (if required) 
    • AMV, Brisbane in conjunction with AMV Track Series 
  • VIC: Race fixture - EntryBoss
    • Entry fee per rider, per event: 200m = $15, Time Tria; = $15, IP = $15, TP = $10, TS = $10 
    • 28th Nov
    • DISC, Thornbury 
  • SA: TBC
    • Opportunity to set times at Junior State Championships 18/19 Dec (Does not count to the National Challenge) 
    • Super-drome, Adelaide 
  • WA: TBC 
    • Speed Dome, Perth

Each venue has set its costs to cover the cost of using the venue and/or Commissaires on the day.

Who can race?

Anyone who is a Masters member.
Results from events that have already taken place will be confirmed from the AusCycling Results website

How will results be published?

We will be using a live timing app that will centralise the results as they happen throughout the country.

Will there be prizes?

AC will award medals for each of the Masters categories.
