Adelaide Superdrome, SA

The Adelaide SuperDrome is the home of track racing and riding in South Australia. As the base of operations for the Australian Cycling Team, the venue gets used by some of the best riders in the world -  so don’t be surprised if you see a current world champion walking the corridors! Also the home of the South Australian Sports Institute Cycling Program, the venue sees considerable use by up and coming riders as well as regular training sessions organised by both AusCycling SA and private coaches.

Training Opportunities

AusCycling is excited to be able to expand the training opportunities at the SuperDrome to include a fortnightly senior endurance session. All track training bookings can now be found under the AusCycling SA SuperDrome Entryboss page. The Tuesday night sprint session has also had a pricing revision to ensure the sessions long term viability.

Tuesday Sprint & Para Sprint – Session is from 7:00pm to 9:00pm that caters for all appetites of junior and senior sprinters. Session is run by former Australian Sprint Champion Caitlin Ward.

Wednesday Junior Skills – Session is from 6:00pm to 8:00pm for juniors from u13 to u17 honing their skills of all aspects of track racing.

Thursday Fortnightly Endurance & Para Endurance - Session is from 7:00pm to 8:30pm that will push the limits of any endurance rider. The session will be led by former Australian Points Score Champion Josh Harrison.

AusCycling aims for all our sessions to be inclusive of Para-athletes. If you are a para-athlete who would like to attend either of the senior sessions but aren’t sure whether the sessions will be able to cater for your ability to engage in the sessions, please contact AusCycling SA's office by email at [email protected].
