2021 AusCycling Queensland BMX Calendar

AusCycling Queensland have been working very hard behind the scenes with our BMX Clubs in updating the 2021 BMX Calendar. We appreciate your patience during this time.

AusCycling Queensland are pleased to announce the following successful Clubs who will host the following 2021 Queensland BMX events:

• 2021 City Challenge – Logan City BMX Academy, the 29 of May.
• 2021 Country Challenge - Cairns BMX Club, with a new date of the 26 of June.

Thank you to everyone who submitted an expression of interest, we appreciate your support and congratulations once again to the above Clubs on their successful appointments.

The 2021 AusCycling Queensland BMX Calendar Overview:

2021 will see an incredible 65 days of racing across 40 events throughout Queensland for BMX. With 64% of these events being hosted outside of South East Queensland.

Amongst the 40 BMX events throughout Queensland, 6 sit within the National Cup Series.

The 6 National Cup Series Events will also double as State Series Events on the AusCycling Queensland Calendar, these include:

• Shootout Series Bayside BMX
• Atherton BMX
• City Challenge, Logan City BMX
• Caboolture BMX
• Country Challenge, Cairns BMX
• Harbour City BMX

So far in 2021, Queensland BMX riders supported Nerang BMX in January and now continue competing in the Shootout Series. As we near the end of the series, all eyes will turn to the prestigious City and Country Challenges in May and June. Before the year concludes with the 2021 AusCycling Queensland BMX State Championships in late September at Ipswich BMX.

AusCycling Queensland wishes to thank all Clubs and Members for getting behind some awesome events in 2021 so far, we continue to look forward to the year ahead.

# Townsville's May event has been moved to the 11 of December.
