Riders must hold a valid AusCycling All-Discipline Racing license or Off-Road Racing license to compete in the Championships. For more information on memberships, please click here.

State championship events use age categories. Your age is determined by your age as of 31st December 2023. The following categories are available:

All lap counts are subject to change at any time at the race director's discretion.

On the day, competitors will be issued with a race plate that contains a transponders as well. Cable ties are provided, although it is your responsibility to ensure that your race plate is visible and correctly mounted. This race plate is to then be returned after the race.

The race van, registration and sign on will be located in the Eagle Mezzanine Area. Parking will be in the bowl area. Enter via the main gate off Mt Barker Road.

XCO courses 4-5km long, aiming to be a total race time of 1h 15 for the winner of each category. This means that Elite riders are expected to do approximately 12.5 minute laps. The trails used are generally Intermediate-Advanced, although B-lines are provided where possible. We have supplied some proposed loops however we cannot guarantee that these will be the exact loop used on race day due to the demands of the land owners, park managers and other factors.
