AusCycling is excited to announce the appointment of Craig Notman to Manager Sport AusCycling - Tasmania

In this role, Notman will drive the implementation of AusCycling events and racing and education and accreditation programs in Tasmania. He will also play a critical leadership and stakeholder management role in Tasmania.

Notman has have worked in High Performance Sport for 25 years, managing high-end elite programs in organisations such as the Australian Football League (AFL), AIS/AFL Academy and Melbourne Football Club, including managing the AFL’s State-wide Talented Player Pathway program in Tasmania.

Most recently, Notman oversaw the creation of a state-wide AFL Talent Player Pathway in Tasmania for male and female players through the Tasmania Devils Football Club – a grassroots to elite program, including the introduction of Tasmanian male and female teams into the AFL’s NAB League U18 competition - the program also incorporating AFL Coach Development activities throughout the state.

“I am really excited Craig has accepted the role as Manager of Sport in Tasmania. He has a strong interest in cycling and is very familiar with the rich cycling history of the state and the growth of participants and facilities across all disciplines,” General Manager of Commercial, Members and Club Development Ag Giramondo said.

“With his extensive sports management background, he will be an enormous support for clubs, promoters, coaches and the community.”

Craig commences in his role on Monday, August 2.
