Round 1 of VICS MTB will be run on the grounds of the Dromana Secondary College. The 3.2km course will take riders through a combination of paved pathways between the school buildings, through parkland and around the sports oval. A second shorter course will be provided for the younger categories.
Riders are expected to race on a roadworthy bike, we will have two bike mechanics on hand performing bike checks.
Riders can choose to enter one of two categories in their chosen age category:
Novice category is suitable for a rider who is new to MTB racing, or has limited experience racing before.
Racing category is suitable for a rider who is experienced and raced at either Club, State or National levels.
Parking Entry to the event is via the Harrisons Rd entrance to the school, there is a small carpark inside the school grounds and also plenty of roadside parking just outside the gate. There will be a QR Code sign in at the Harrisons Rd Carpark entrance.
