2023 Alpinestars Schools MTB Series - Victoria - Round 3 You Yangs

 Riders are expected to race on a roadworthy bike, we will have two bike mechanics on hand performing bike checks.

Age categories and race distance:

U9 - approx 2.5kms (U9 course)

U11 - approx 5kms (Short course)

U13 - approx 7kms (Short course)

U15 - approx 12kms (Long course)

U17 - approx 15kms (Long course)

U19 - approx 20kms (Long course)

Riders can choose to enter one of two categories in their chosen age category:

Novice category is suitable for a rider who is new to MTB racing, or has limited experience racing before.

Racing category is suitable for a rider who is experienced and raced at either Club, State or National levels.

Location / Parking This round uses the trail network at the You Yangs Regional Park from the Stockyards MTB Area. Parking is accessed from Drysdale Road, Little River.

Pre-Race Ride Afternoon (Come and try) will be advertised shortly.

Registration is open from 8.30am on race day and riders must visit registration at least 30 minutes prior to race start to check their names off and receive their race number.

Food & Drinks will be available to purchase.

Registration will open at 8:00am. The first race will begin at 9:30am.  Riders are required to check in at registration no later than 30 mins prior to their race starting.
