Club and Riding Group Affiliation
CLUB/RIDING GROUP AFFILIATION INFORMATION
AusCycling has over 450 affiliated clubs/riding groups across Australia and within these clubs, there are 52,000+ members across BMX, BMX Freestyle, Cyclo-Cross, E-Sport, Mountain Bike, Para-Cycling, Road, Track and Lifestyle (recreational and commuter) riding throughout Australia.
Our vision is to make Australia a nation of bike riders, to advocate for our riders’ safety, build strong club communities and to make all forms of cycling accessible to everyone be it on a track, off a jump, in the great Australian bush or on the road. We open our doors for members to be part of our clubs and riding groups– who are our greatest asset in assisting members and grow the sport of Cycling.
From when a member starts with us - they are welcomed to join and be part of a community that enjoys being active, social and the ability to improve on their ability as a rider. Our clubs are a great starting point of getting involved as they can provide guidance and information on the disciplines they offer, racing information and support when required.
The below is for the information of renewing and new clubs, along with Riding Groups wishing to affiliate with AusCycling.
RENEW CLUB AFFILIATION - 2024
All clubs can affiliate with AusCycling annually. The affiliation period is from 1 January each year and expires on 31 December.
Existing Clubs will be sent a renewal notice prior to the expiration of the affiliation period.
Clubs who have not renewed their affiliation and paid after 29th December 2023 will no longer hold affiliation status or be covered by AusCycling insurance.

NEW CLUB AFFILIATION
AusCycling have created a 'How to start a Club' document which identifies the requirements of affiliation. This guide assists new clubs in five steps:
- Assessment
- Incorporating as an Association
- Affiliation with AusCycling
- Your club is now affiliated
- Renewal of Affiliation
Complete the online New Club Affiliation Form below. Once submitted, AusCycling will contact you to make payment of the applicable Affiliation Fee.
RIDING GROUPS
If your riding group does not qualify to affiliate as a club, please see our Riding Group information on how you can still join the AusCycling family.

Notes:
- Fee includes GST.
- Fee is for 12 months (January to December each year)
- Invoices will be sent after your Affiliation Form has been reviewed and noted as completed by a Member Services Team Member.
