James Moriarty added to Australia squad for UCI Track World Championships

James Moriarty of Balmoral Cycling Club will join the men's endurance side at the 2022 UCI Track World Championships in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, France from October 12-16.

Moriarty has had a successful year on the track, taking his first UCI Track Nations Cup medals in Milton earlier this year. The Queenslander took bronze in the men's individual team pursuit as well as gold in the men's team pursuit alongside Josh Duffy, Conor Leahy and Graeme Frislie.

The Commonwealth Games bronze medallist will join the squad announced on September 1, replacing Lucas Plapp who has withdrawn from the squad.
