On Tuesday, December 7, Queensland Health released the – Public Health and Social Measures linked to vaccination status Direction, which provides greater information around COVID-19 and vaccination restrictions.

According to the vaccination status direction being fully vaccinated is not required to take part in, or spectate at community sport throughout Queensland. Therefore there is no requirement for Clubs, event organisers, coaches or officials to check vaccination status.

At the National Championships, AusCycling still encourages the following;

  • Everyone carry and wear a mask where they can't physically distance
  • If you feel unwell, please stay home
  • AusCycling will utilise the Check In Qld app for contract tracing at the National Championships
