Any riders who are attending the BMX National Championships and 2021 will be your 10th/15th/20th/25th consecutive year (please note this excludes 2020 when no event was run), please complete the online form by 11:59PM AEDT Sunday, 12 December 2021.

On Tuesday, December 7, Queensland Health released the – Public Health and Social Measures linked to vaccination status Direction, which provides greater information around COVID-19 and vaccination restrictions. 

According to the vaccination status direction being fully vaccinated is not required to take part in, or spectate at community sport throughout Queensland. Therefore there is no requirement for Clubs, event organisers, coaches or officials to check vaccination status.

At the National Championships, AusCycling still encourages the following;

  • Everyone carry and wear a mask where they can't physically distance
  • If you feel unwell, please stay home
  • AusCycling will utilise the Check In Qld app for contract tracing at the National Championships

The 2021 AusCycling BMX National Championships will be live-streamed, with all three days of racing captured.

  • AusCycling's YouTube will live stream all three days of racing from Saturday to Monday

SBS Cycling Central 

  • SBS Cycling Central's Facebook page will have the live action from the 2021 BMX National Championships, with streaming from 4.00 pm to 6.30 pm AEDT on Saturday, December 18, and 9.30 am to 2.00 pm AEDT on Monday, December 20.


FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

With the Queensland Government confirming the opening of their border from December 17, the 2021 AusCycling BMX National Championships scheduled at Nerang BMX will be moved to December 18-20.

The reason for this change is to allow all riders from all States and Territories the opportunity to attend these Championships, the first since May 2019.
