AusCycling U17 Development Academy Track Team announced

The AusCycling Development Academy Track Team has been selected for the coming YAYASAN SIME DARBY AUSTRALIASEAN SERIES 2024 being held at the National Velodrome Malaysia on May 3–5.

Included in the competition will be under-17 teams from Malaysia, New Zealand, Thailand and Indonesia.

This AusCycling pathway project will provide the junior athletes with the opportunity to learn the intricacies of racing overseas, as well as giving them a greater understanding of the fantastic culture on Australia’s doorstep.

The project is also seen as a great step forward in international development, with AusCycling staff providing outreach education to participating nations.

The 24 athletes will be supported by 6 coaches selected from the AusCycling Development Academies, the coaching cohort will gain valuable exposure at an international level, leading race, and educational activities.
