It is the first double header with Round 4 of the UCI MTB Mercedes-Benz World Cup in Leogang, with downhill and XC making their return to the Austrian venue on the same weekend.

All eyes will be on whether Rebecca McConnell (Primaflor Mondrakder Genuins) can keep her amazing winning streak going after XCO victories in Petropolis, Albstadt and Nove Mesto.

McConnell is currently 349 points ahead of second place in the overall standings and will wear the leader's jersey at the venue where she has finished on the podium the past two years in XCC and XCO.

The cross-country course is 3.6km in length and features two long main climbs. The track goes into forest areas a couple of times and the descents are steep and challenging. There are a few technical elements on the course that will test the riders skills, including gaps and root passages
