• Masters Men & Women (30 years of age +)
• Interstate riders can compete and win medals. Best place NSW rider will be recognised as the NSW Champion
• Age Categories for this event are as per 2022 ages effective from 1st October 2021.
• Financial AusCycling 'Race All Discipline' members only.
• This event is not open to Temporary or Recreational Memberships
• In combined categories for Road Races and Time Trials: will have separate medals will be awarded for each category

Time Trial Seeding

Riders will be seeded as per the NSW Handicapping Policy. To avoid disappointment, please check with your club handicapper to ensure your state handicapping code is correct.

Time Trial Course: Singleton Short Course

Road Race Course: Singleton Short Course

Criterium Course: HEZ Criterium

Singleton Venue: Scotts Flat Road, Roughit, Singleton NSW. To avoid driving on course: We ask anyone arriving after the start of racing for the day to please approach the venue by driving along Glendon Road approaching from the West (Singleton side) of the course via Clydesdale and Big Ridge Please Note: No Parking on Glendon Road. This is a condition of our council approval to hold the event. Please park only beyond the bridge on Scotts Flat Road

HEZ Venue: Entrance via Leggetts Drive. Parking will be along the top of the criterium circuit as per normal HEZ events. There will be 15-20min breaks where it will be possible to move vehicles in and out. However if you do wish to have flexibility with your departure time: Please consider parking at the entrance to HEZ and riding in for a warm-up. Please follow the instructions of parking officials at all times

Number & transponder collection & return will be available at the following times and locations:

• Friday: 8:30am to 2pm - Scotts Flat Road
• Saturday: 6:30am to 3pm - Scotts Flat Road
• Sunday: 7am to 3pm - HEZ 

Please note: Once transponder & bibs are collected, there is no need to sign on each day. Please return your bibs & transponder at the completion of your last event

 

Weather conditions

• The event will proceed as planned unless the conditions are deemed to be unsafe by the Race Organiser and Chief Commissaire on the morning of the event
• Low temperatures and wind are expected for this event. Please do ensure you pack adequate clothing for the conditions

Support Vehicles

• Please note follow cars will NOT be permitted for the Individual Time Trial on Friday
• We are still seeking volunteers for neutral spares vehicles. Please email: [email protected] to register your interest

Spares

• Neutral Spares vehicles will follow each race (dependant on volunteers)
• A pit area will be setup for the criteriums on Sunday. Riders will be permitted one (1) lap out up to the 3 lap to go point of the race

Food and Coffee

• Please note their is no running water at the race start. Ensure you bring enough water for pre and post event
• Canteen will be run by Newcastle Hunter Cycling Club for Saturday & Sunday
• Coffee van will be onsite for Saturday & Sunday

Transponder and Number return

Upon the completion of your competition: Please return race numbers and transponder to the sign on desk and have your name marked off. Please return BOTH your bib number and transponder to avoid replacement charge fee (up to $160)
