Tour Points Information

U9, U11 & U13: Points based Tour with following points for top 8 of each stage: 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, ,2, 1
- U15-U17: GC based on time. With following time bonuses:
- Criterium primes: 2 x primes worth: 5, 3, 2 seconds
- Criterium finish: 10, 5, 3, 2, 1 seconds
- Road Race finish: 20, 10, 5, 3, 2 seconds

Handicap is stand alone and no points will be awarded for this event.

Should there be a tie on points at the conclusion of the Tour, the Individual Time Trial result will be used to break the tie.

Riders who do not complete all stages will not be eligible for a General Classification result.
Parking & Sign on
- Parking on-site is off the road and at your own risk
- Please park at least 1 metre outside of the curb for rider safety
- Please ensure you arrive for parking well before the first start after which the course will be closed to cars
- Parking only on the right side of the road
- Sign on is located near the start/finish line and will be open from 1 hour before competition
Venue facilities
- Please note there is no running water at the race start. Please ensure you bring enough water for post event
- Portaloo's will be on sight
- Coffee van will be onside on Saturday only
- BBQ and canteen will be available on both days
Course Information
Additional traffic furniture has been built into the road surface on the HEZ course. Given this furniture has been permanently placed into the road & can not be removed on race day the following safety measures have been put in place:
- All bollards and gates will be padded with hay bales & wrapped in rubber mats
- 100m each side of the gates will be neutralized (no attacking will be permitted)
- Cones will be placed in the center of the road on both sides of the gates for 100m in each direction indicating the neutral zone
- Marshal will be placed at each end of the neutral zone with a flag & whistle warning riders.
All vehicles entering the venue will drive past this point of the course on their way to the start line

Course 1 - U9 Time Trial: From the start line head up to and go around the roundabout then down the hill turn to U6 at the Ullrich driveway turn head back up the hill to the finish line.
Course 2 - U9 Criterium: From the start line head up to and go around the roundabout down the hill to U5 just down from the start/finish line in the driveway for the parking in the spare block turn in the driveway then back up the hill to the finish line.
Course 3 - U11 TT, U9 Road Race: From the start line head up to the roundabout and turn left at head to U1 the first wide section of the road then turn head back to the roundabout down the hill to U7 and then head back up the hill to the finish line.
Course 4 - U11 Road Race, U13 TT: From the start line head up to the roundabout and turn left head out to U2 where the Cement Block/Water tower turn head back to the roundabout down the hill to U7 turn and then head back up the hill to the finish line.
Course 5 - U15 TT, U13 U15 U17 Handicap: From the start line head up to the roundabout and turn left head out to U3 just before the train line turn and head back to the roundabout down the hill to U7 and the head back up the hill to the finish line.
Course 6 - U11, U13, U15, U17 Criterium: From the start line head up to and go around the roundabout then down the hill turn to U7 at the top of the hill turn head back up the hill to the finish line.
Course 7 - U13 Road Race, U15 Road Race, U17 TT, U17 Road Race: From the start line head up to the roundabout and turn left head out to U4 turn at the main road then head back to the roundabout down the hill then left at U7 all the way out to U8 cul-de-sac turn and head back to U7 turn right and head back up the hill to the finish line.

Weather conditions
The event will proceed as planned unless the conditions are deemed to be unsafe by the Race Organiser and Chief Commissaire on the morning of the event
Transponder and Number return
Upon the completion of your competition: Please return race numbers and transponder to the sign on desk and have your name marked off. Please return BOTH your bib number and transponder to avoid replacement charge fee (up to $160)
Presentations & Prizes
- Presentations for the overall tour winners will be held at the end of the final stage, as per the schedule above. All riders in the placings must attend the presentation. There is only one presentation held per category.
Age Categories & Eligibility
- Age Categories: U9, U11, U13, U15, U17
- Age Categories for this event are as per 2022 ages effective from 1st October 2021
- Financial AusCycling 'Race All Discipline' members only.
- This event is not open to Temporary or Recreational Memberships
Technical Regulations
- Events will be run according to AusCycling Technical Regulations
- Please refer to section 1.02 specifically for junior age category equipment restrictions
Handicapping / Grading
Riders will be graded as per the NSW Handicapping Policy. There is no guarantee you will receive the grade you nominate. To avoid disappointment, please check with your club handicapper to ensure your state handicapping code is correct.

By entering my child into this event, I, as the child’s parent or guardian.
- Acknowledge that photographs and videos of my child may be taken during the event; and
- Give permission for AusCycling and the event promoter to record, keep, publish and display such photographs and videos of my child.
Please note that photographs and videos of competitors may be taken during the event. Please advise AusCycling by e-mail at [email protected] if you do not give permission for the promoter and / or AusCycling to keep, publish and display photographs and videos of your child from this event.
