AusBike is Australia’s national entry level program designed to give kids the essential skills to experience the freedom, fun and adventure of life on a bike!
The course is aimed at club and community members, parents and teachers who want to help build and develop beginner level riders (aged 5 -12). The program is designed to get kids riding, no matter their ability or type of bike they ride and can act as a feeder into discipline specific programs.

*AusCycling will cover 3 instructors per centre (or Club) to complete the AusBike Instructor Accreditation - using the Australian Government grant funding ending December 2024.

The AusBike Instructor course examines the areas of;
At the completion of the course, AusBike Instructors will be able to deliver AusBike sessions in a controlled environment (i.e. school grounds, open space such as an oval, netball/basketball court, indoor venue and bike paths). AusBike Instructors will be assisting beginner level riders aged 5 -12 to increase their confidence and fundamental skills to ride a bike safely whilst having fun.

The AusBike Instructor course is a combination of theory based online modules and the submission of a video assessment demonstrating instruction of the CORE4Skills™ to be reviewed by AusCycling.
You will be required to complete the three (3) components listed to be issued with an accreditation;
