Online Entries

Cost is $15 per rider
Juniors (U9, U11, U13, U15, U17, U19) $5

NO LATE ENTRIES, NO EXCEPTIONS

Self-service scratching includes an automated refund. Scratching closes at the same time as entries. Use the SCRATCH button on the race entry page to scratch. Once scratched you can not re-enter the event

Details

• Competitors MUST attend the race briefing at 6.55 pm in the marshalling area for Open to D Grades.
• Warm up for Open to E grade will be on the 400m track near Huxham St while Junior & E grade racing is on.
• There will be multiple grades on the circuit at the one time. All grades to keep to the right hand side of the track unless passing. The faster bunch is expected to pass a slower bunch on the left-hand side.
• Grades may be combined if the number of riders entered is not conducive to quality racing.
• When your race is finished please move to the outside when it's safe, and clear the track.
• Note: Racing may be cancelled if conditions are hazardous due to wet tarmac, lighting failure, recalcitrant wildlife or other unforeseen circumstances. Entrants can expect a refund of race fees in the event of race cancellation.

Grading

As a guide, if you have not raced a crit with us before, your initial grading upon entry is as per your current Auscycling QLD Grading as below.

If you do not have an Auscycling QLD grading yet, you may use your Balmoral, HWCC, GCCC, Lifecycle grading or equivalent. Just let the Handicapper know. "Open" is the equivalent of A grade

It is the responsibility of each rider to enter a suitable grade. Ipswich Cycling Club appreciates your patience while we establish fair gradings.

Licence

• You must hold a current Auscycling Race licence
• No licence? If you haven't raced before you can get a 4 Week Trial membership from https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/free-trial
