ACSA Lockdown Loops - while we can't race in real life!

Well, you didn’t expect us to go home and sit on our hands, did you? For those who got used to the abundance of road and track racing we’ve had in the last few months (crits on Tuesdays and Thursdays, track on Fridays, Super Series most weekends, etc!) the suddenness of this new lockdown measure has come as a bit of a shock to the system. Never fear, we’ve got some E-racing to keep you going!

If you’re familiar with Zwift’s E-racing platform, this will be easy to get in and out of. All you’ll need is the links below to get into each race meet, and you’ll select a grade to race. There is a separate link for each Men’s race and Women’s race, with different grading ranges for W/kg.

It goes through everything from getting set up, making sure you warm up, how to pick your grade, how drafting works on Zwift, and some pointers for when to go. Zwift’s E-racing platform is a little bit like racing in real life, but it’s also a whole lot different.

AusCycling is pleased to announce a partnership with online cycling platform Zwift which will see the continued rise of Cycling Esport in Australia.

The partnership marks the culmination of several years of work with Zwift which included the development of a world-first Cycling Esports National Racing Series in mid-2020.

The partnership between Zwift and AusCycling will see a regular calendar of events and exclusive rides for AusCycling members, the continuation of the National Racing Series, the addition of the National Junior Racing Series, Mountain Bike events and the addition of Masters and Graded races.
