2022 Alpinestars Schools MTB Series - Victoria - Round 3 Haunted Hills, Latrobe Valley

It is going to be a frighteningly fun Round 3 of VICS MTB at Haunted Hills MTB Park in the Latrobe Valley! 1.45hrs east of Melbourne, Haunted Hills is one of Victoria's newest MTB parks and is the jewel in the crown of the Gippsland G7 trail network.

Pre-Race Ride Afternoon on Saturday 20 August Ridenation Gippsland, Gippsland MTB Inc and AusCycling have a massive afternoon of skills sessions and guided rides in the Maryvale Pines Mountain Bike Park. But this is not just for the schools riders, the entire family can bring their bike along and ride some sweet Gippsland trails. More information to be provided soon!

Age Categories and distance:

U9 - approx 2.2kms (1 x 3km loop)

U11 - approx 5kms (2 x 3km loop)

U13 - approx 7kms (2 x 3.7km loop)

U15 - approx 11kms (3 x 3.7km loop)

U17 - approx 15kms (4 x 3.7km loop)

U19 - approx 20kms (5 x 3.7km loop)

Riders can choose to enter one of two categories in their chosen age category:

Novice category is suitable for a rider who is new to MTB racing, or has limited experience racing before.

Racing category is suitable for a rider who is experienced and raced at either Club, State or National levels.

Parking Parking: There is no parking within the venue, however you will be permitted to drive to the main entrance as per the Google Map above, and drop off your rider with their bike and gear, and then park your car at the Gippsland Car Club on Bill Schultz Drive, as shown on the map below. There will be signage directing you to the Gippsland Car Club and a shuttle bus to get parents to and from the Event Village.

Refreshments There will be food and refreshments (including coffee!) available at the event village.
